Grantee in the News: Rebecca Brown’s AFAR-funded research on functional impairment in older homeless populations in PLOS One
On August 13, 2019, PLOS One published research by AFAR expert Rebecca T. Brown, MD, MPH, that exploring functional impairment in the older adult homeless population.
Dr. Brown is a 2010 and 2012 COE Fellow, as well as a 2018 Paul B. Beeson Emerging Leaders Career Development Award in Aging recipient. The research was supported through Dr. Brown’s Beeson award. She is also an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco, and an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania.
