Fortune India “40 Under 40” nominations for Brightest Young Entrepreneurs and Professionals

Fortune India is looking for young achievers who have done remarkable, impactful work in the field of business.
It is that time of the year when they begin preparations for the annual Fortune India 40 Under 40 list featuring some of India’s brightest young entrepreneurs and professionals.
This is an opportunity for applicants to nominate themselves or someone they know for doing remarkable, impactful work in the field of business and be a part of the coveted 40 Under 40 list. In short, Fortune India is looking for achievers with a stellar track record.
Fortune India is category agnostic, so whichever industry applicants may belong to, do feel free to send them their nominations.
The final list of 40 will be decided by Fortune India’s editorial team, after verification and consultations with sector experts. The list will be published in Fortune India’s special quarterly issue, which will be on stands on June 15, 2019. The listers will also be felicitated at a ceremony in Bengaluru later this year.
Eligibility Criteria
- Criteria for selection for entrepreneurs:
- Disruptive quality of the idea/person; what they have done differently from several others in the segment
- How has the business scaled in last one year?
- Innovation/not a me-too. How is the idea/offering different from others?
- Impact already made. This needs to be reflected through numbers
- Not an inheritor
- Validation from an outsider, such as an investor or business partner
- Criteria for selection for corporate executives:
- Role in the organisation (at least two years)
- Any key decision/action which has made an impact in growing the business. Need validation through numbers – addition to earnings
- Any key corporate or strategic contribution. Need validation through numbers
- Validation from an outsider, such as an investor or business partner
- Criteria for selection for fund managers:
- Role in the organisation (at least two years) and why it matters. Specify areas of expertise
- Impact on business in terms of fund allocation or deal closed and its overall contribution to the company’s business
- What are the long-term prospects of his/her business expertise?
- Validation from an outsider, such as an investor or business partner
- In the case of entities with multiple co-founders, ALL co-founders need to be under the age of 40. Nominees need to be under the age of 40 as on March 31, 2019. Kindly attach a copy of the PAN card or Aadhaar card for age verification.
