Grantee in the News: Randall Bateman to receive Potamkin Prize for Alzheimer’s Disease Research
Congratulations to AFAR expert Randall Bateman, MD for being selected to receive the 2019 Potamkin Prize for Research in Pick’s, Alzheimer’s and Related Diseases, sponsored by the American Academy of Neurology.
Dr. Bateman is a 2007 Paul B. Beeson Emerging Leaders Career Development Award in Aging (K76) scholar and 2012 MetLife Foundation Promising Investigator Award for Medical Research in Alzheimer’s disease winner.
The $100,000 award will be presented on May 6th at the American Academy of Neurology’s annual meeting in Philadelphia.
