Applications are invited for this post of Specialty Registrar (Locum Appointment for Training/Locum Appointment for Service) (ST3/4) in Combined Infection Training based at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. This may be suitable for a period of training for candidates wishing to train in Infectious Diseases, Medical Microbiology or General Medicine. Applicants for LAT must have completed 18 months post-registration experience in Medical posts including 12 months of Acute Admissions, and have worked at ST2 level or above. For those candidates interested in the LAT post, the Postgraduate Dean confirms that this placement and / or programme has the required educational and Postgraduate Dean’s approval. However, the LAS post does not have educational approval from the Postgraduate Dean and will not be recognised for training. Full registration with a licence to practise with the GMC is required.
