Extra Income Online – Do not Be a Freebie Junkie

One benefit for work at home newbies is the vast amount of products, tools and information that can be found free on the internet. From lite versions of popular software to tutorials teaching the basics of every type of online work, it's amazing what you can get without pulling out the old credit card.

The downside is that included with valuable information sites and products are countless numbers of free ebooks, reports, downloads that are totally worthless to you.

As a new marketer, you are hungry for information and especially for workable plans you can follow to get started. Most newbies will tell you what they seek is a step by step plan, a blueprint, a method for earning income online that they can understand and follow.

Using the free info and tools available is smart and cost conscious. However, if you find yourself downloading everything you find for free – or reading every how-to eBook and report you find offered on blogs, site and forums, you can damage your chances for succeeding.

What's wrong with free? Nothing – as long as the item is something you can use, written by someone who knows what they are talking about, and is not just a front for back end sales from endless affiliate links.

Avoid being taken in by freebies – do not waste valuable time reading reports or watching videos meant only to promote a product to you. If you are focusing on learning to build your first website, ignore products about other topics. They'll be there when and if you need them later. Concentrate on what you need to know now – not what you might do sometimes in the future.

Every useless free product you download – every email list you sign up for – takes time you could be spending building your online business for extra income.

One of the worst pieces of advice you will see is to sign up for all the big marketers lists and read all the emails. The theory is that you will learn from them – the reality is you will spend time you could use to build your own business – and you will buy products or download freebies that are only time hogs.

Do not be a freebie junkie. Spend that precious time building your business and selling your products – learning your extra income online!
