My client is a leading Construction organisation based in the North West who are currently involved with a number of multi million pound projects and are looking to expand their Procurement & Supply Chain function by adding a talented Supply Chain Manager to the team. Client Details My client is a leading construction organisation that have a foothold in a number of sectors across the construction space as well as a number of large scale projects based in Manchester Description Key duties include:- Managing the project procurement processes in line with the businesses policies and procedures. Engaging, developing and managing key partnerships specific to the respective business unit Monitoring, reviewing and approving critical sub-contractor procurement packages in line with agreed procurement strategies and processes Working closely with the Supply Chain to ensure that the end-to-end supply chain costs do not exceed any procurement advantage achieved during price and delivery negotiations. Profile The Candidate: Construction experience essential Studying towards MCIPS qualification Passionate about Procurement & Supply Chain Can work well alone or part of a team Keen to make a difference Strong people skills Driven Comfortable with sub contract & material packages Commercial skills within a construction environment Job Offer My client is looking to offer a base salary of up to £40k plus a very competitive package
