Helpdesk Specialist

Reed are currently recruiting for a Helpdesk Specialist to join a well established local company in Uxbridge. The main function is to offer technical advise over the phone to customers in order to reduce the number of call outs that require attendance. – Proactively contact customers with the view of clearing at least 5 calls per day. – Add clear notes on calls which are progressed for attendance – Review reports for faults – Provide feedback to the Administration Manager when calls have details missing – Work closely with the scheduling team to progress calls efficiently – Create a weekly report to give an overview of number of calls cleared versus attempted – Assist other teams with technical queries – Highlight any potential escalations to the relevant manager Must be an excellent communicator with a good level of attention to detail and problem solving skills.
