Audit Assistant Manager/Manager – Top 20 Firm

A highly prestigious, Top 20 firm, are looking to further strengthen the Audit team in their London office, and have opportunities at both Assistant Manager and Manager level. The role will be to work closely alongside the firms Audit Partners in order to run your own portfolio of Audit clients, managing a team of staff to ensure that all their need and requirements are met. The main duties of the roles are; Running the audit process from planning through to completion Managing the audit team during the process, allocating work to staff and ensuring it is completed to the firm’s high standards Assist in supervising and managing the audit staff, including staff appraisals Assisting in the general running of the audit department Provision of general business advice to clients Support work for Partner Managing the overall service delivery to clients Attending and leading client meetings Client billing and job recoverability Client and prospective client meetings The Ideal Candidate ACA/ACCA (or equivalent) qualified Experience in leading and managing a team A strong background in the audit department of a busy accountancy practice A commercial awareness enabling you to recognise and develop new business opportunities For more information on this opportunity please either apply directly, or contact Kieron Whitehead at AJ Chambers.
