Your Mission: Owing to the ever increasing demand for expertise in this field, our Sustainabilitydivision requires a Sustainability Consultant to lead the team. Whilst the role is based at our Royton(Oldham) UK office, regular travel within the UK will be required, withpotential EU travel also required from time to time. Your Responsibilities : ·Reports to the Director of SustainabilityEMEA ·Capture the new work coming into the divisionincluding start/end date, work type, monetary value and our Cost to Serve. ·Allocate the work to your direct reports orchoose to undertake yourself. ·Supply the Director of Sustainability EMEAwith a monthly report including revenue, costs, team performance against KPIsand training plans. ·You will be responsible for a number ofemployees and must organise holidays, appraisals, training plans, 1-2-1s and beavailable for the weekly 1-2-1s with the Director of Sustainability EMEA. ·Carry out data analysis, preparation ofreports and completion of application documents to support various mandatoryand voluntary energy and carbon compliance schemes ·Support the service delivery process for various schemes, including CCA,CRC, EED (ESOS), ISO 50001, CHPQA, EU-ETS, and any other European legislative/incentiveschemes ·Liaise withvarious parties including clients, trade bodies and regulators to resolvequeries and changes in agreement eligibility ·Research and interpret legislative updates and developments surroundingEuropean energy and/or carbon legislation, including the Energy EfficiencyDirective ·Ensure thatsystems are used appropriately in the delivery of contracted work to clientsand that client data is managed and protected according to corporate standards ·Conduct desk and site-based audits to identify eligibility for schemesand collect evidence for scheme applications ·Report preparation and presentation, followedby the implementation and on-going management of schemes ·Identify opportunities and solutions throughinvestigatory work ·Carry out compliance management servicesincluding regulatory audit support ·Make sure that goals are achieved as agreed in performance reviews ·Ensure the operation and application of companypolicies are followed and ensure your direct reports do the same and are happyin their positions. Qualifications About You: You will hold a relevant degree or experience within the energy/environmental field and experience in utility supplies and legislative research highly desirable. Excellent verbal and written communication skills together with time management and organisational skills are essential. You will be a natural leader of people; ideally with experience of managing your own team. Problem solving skills, technical curiosity and willingness to take ownership of tasks and problems are essential behavioural traits required to succeed in this role. Extensive experience of Excel for data analysis for reporting and forecasting, the ability to change, adapt and reprioritise required. You will demonstrate previous experience of dealing with customers with a high level of commercial acumen and a passion for driving quality and solving problems.
